David D. Sorry, I don’t have a video for this post, but due to the loss in thousands of jobs this week, I had to get this information out.
We are surrounded by jobless numbers, steady growing unemployment rate and no end in sight. These are times to suck it in and rethink your objectives. If you had a job before the crash, obviously, you were picked because you have certain skills to get you there. And by no fault of your own, you were let go.
The thing to do now is focus on your strengths and find jobs you can do in your area or find a need that fits your strength and fulfill that need.
Back in 1995, I jumped ship off the corporate cruise line, to venture on my own to see the “real world” for what it’s worth. It’s been one heck of a ride, but I’ve never looked back. Yes, I’ve had to take mediocre jobs to help will the bills, when times were tough, but overall there’s a sense of freedom.
Over the years, I met hundreds of business owners who got started with nothing and grew their businesses to six figure digits. They did what they knew how to do and instead of making someone else rich, they decided to go into business for themselves. Jobs come and go, but your skills stay with you. That’s what you can take with you, either starting up your own business or working for someone else.
In my new e-book “501 Easy Ways To Make Money At Home”, I list hundreds of businesses you can start from the comforts of your own home. Again, taking the skills you already know and making it legal to get paid for yourself after the job is completed.
You have the power to get wealth. You just need a direction, a guide, a (ahem, e-book) to expand your options. Sometimes it’s times like these, when jobless rates are skyrocketing, that the best business owners are born.
